5th Grade

Fifth grade at Brookwood Elementary is a year of leadership, confidence, and meaningful academic growth as students prepare for their transition to middle school. They take on deeper learning in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while engaging in collaborative projects that challenge them to think critically and work together. Our classrooms encourage responsibility, independence, and curiosity, giving students space to discover their strengths and celebrate their accomplishments. With guidance from dedicated teachers, fifth graders build the skills, habits, and character that set them up for success in the years ahead.
