Dr. Angela Perry - Principal

Dr. Perry is proud to serve as the new Brookwood principal! With two decades of experience in education, she brings a commitment to student success and community connection. Dr. Perry spent 12 years as a teacher and academic coach in Cobb County before moving to Forsyth. Her roles have included EIP, Quality Work Facilitator, and Assistant Principal, each shaping her beliefs in collaboration, inclusion, and student achievement. Dr. Perry believes in the importance of voice, belonging, and building strong relationships.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education at Kennesaw State University and holds a Master's, Specialist, and Doctorate from Walden University. She also completed Tier 1 and Tier 2 Leader Certification from the University of North Georgia, further strengthening her leadership foundation.

Outside of school, family is at the heart of everything she does. Dr. Perry is the proud mom of two wonderful daughters, wife to a supportive husband, and dog mom to two Golden Doodles.

Dr. Becky Cahill - Assistant Principal

Dr. Cahill earned her bachelor's degree in history, her master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology, her specialist's degree in educational leadership, and her doctorate in educational leadership. Dr. Cahill has worked in Forsyth County since 2003. She taught social studies at North Forsyth High School, was an assistant administrator at West Forsyth High School and was an assistant principal at Sawnee Elementary School.

Mrs. Heather Taft - Assistant Administrator

Mrs. Taft has proudly served Forsyth County as a Special Education Facilitator and elementary teacher for the past 8 years and has worked in the field of education beginning in 1994. Her professional journey includes service in school systems across South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and both Northern and Southern California before making Forsyth County her home. Mrs. Taft earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Converse College and the Citadel, respectively, and is completing her leadership endorsement through the University of North Georgia. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is a wife and proud mother of two daughters, both graduates of North Forsyth High School.
