General Clinic Information for Parents and Guardians:
It is essential to notify the school nurse of any medical conditions that may affect your child during school hours, school activities or in an emergency. This includes any new diagnosis, prescribed medications, or resolved health issues. Please review your child’s health information in Parent Portal and communicate any changes directly to the school nurse. Timely updates help ensure your child’s safety and well-being while at school.
- If your child has a chronic health condition (such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, or allergies), a current care plan must be on file with the school nurse. These plans help staff respond quickly and appropriately in the event of a health concern during the school day.
- To help the clinic reach you if needed, please make sure your contact phone numbers are up to date in Parent Portal. Consider adding the school’s phone number to your contacts so that the school’s name appears on your caller ID.
- If your student becomes ill at school and needs to leave early, they must first report to the school clinic. If they call or text before reporting to the clinic, it will not be excused. The school nurse will determine if a checkout is excused based on illness or injury during the school day.
Together, we can create a safe, healthy, and successful school year for all students.
